Through a partnership with parents and the community, Little Milligan Elementary School seeks to provide a student focused learning program that challenges students to become proficient or advanced in academic skills as outlined by the Tennessee State Standards, develop emotionally and socially, as well as be accountable for his/her actions and to be responsible lifelong learners.
We gathered some instruments, strings and gear for their new music classes in an area with previously no music in the schools. Music classes are taught by a volunteer, Blue. Especially appreciated were two flutes donated by Kit and John Potter.
