The Sheldon Arts Foundation is dedicated to enriching the greater St. Louis region and beyond with a wide range of music, visual arts and educational programs of the highest quality, diversity and educational impact; and to the preservation and operation of the historic Sheldon Concert Hall and the adjoining Sheldon Art Galleries.
Music for Lifelong Achievement is a program of the Sheldon Arts Foundation that provides musical instruments for disadvantaged young people throughout the St. Louis region.
School budgets are being cut and many young musicians in middle school and high school do not have an instrument to play in band and/or orchestra. Music For Lifelong Achievement, a program that is based at the Sheldon Concert Hall, accepts the donation of used or new instruments, makes any necessary repairs and gets them in the hands of young St. Louis musicians.
